Day 3 start

The morning has dawned a little overcast. Rain was forecast for today so we will have to see. Maybe a soaking but we will soon dry. Normally today would take us around the far side of the mountains but, for the first time ever, the Cyprus-Turkish army have agreed to escourt us through their training area between St Hilarion's castle and Bellapais Abbey. This 'first' involved the British Consulate and Cyprus-Turkish authorities. Our guides are very excited at the prospect! More later.
